Accessibility

Last updated: 23 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to read this site and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our target

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the whole site.

What we’ve done

  • Everything works with a keyboard: every link, button, question and dialog. A “Skip to content” link comes first, and Escape closes any dialog.
  • Every control shows a clear focus outline when you reach it with the keyboard.
  • Text and controls meet AA contrast in both the light and the dark theme. You can switch themes from the button at the top of every page, and the site follows your device setting until you do.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, the diagrams show their finished state and nothing animates.
  • The page uses real headings, lists and tables, the questions open and close as accessible accordions, and nothing depends on colour alone.
  • The diagrams have text equivalents: each one has a written description, each card in them has a label, and the six-stage process opens each stage’s full text in a panel. On small screens the diagrams are plain lists.
  • Automated checks on 23 October 2026: Lighthouse accessibility 100 on mobile and desktop, and no WCAG 2.2 AA issues found by axe in either theme on phone and desktop widths.

For the courses

The courses we’re building with partners will have captions and transcripts on every video, keyboard and screen-reader support, light and dark modes, and an accommodation path for learners who need one.

What we know isn’t perfect yet

  • Our testing so far is automated checks and keyboard testing. We haven’t yet tested the site with people who use screen readers or other assistive technology.
  • The diagrams on large screens are drawn with a diagram library. Their text equivalents are there, but the visual diagrams themselves can’t be explored node by node with a screen reader.
  • Booking a call opens Cal.com’s booking window, which Cal.com builds and runs. If it doesn’t work for you, email us and we’ll book the call by email.
